Welcome to International Islamic University, Islamabad and its Department of Environmental Sciences (DES) which is a part of Faculty of Basic and Applied Science (FBAS).
The world over Environmental changes, have created problems such as desertification, silting of dam reservoirs, water logging and salinity, degradation and contamination of surface and groundwater. Over exploitation of resources is destroying the environment and we are facing the danger of degradation, destruction and elimination of an Ecological infrastructure that is so important for our coming generations.
Keeping in view the importance and the growing demand for a "Environmental Friendly" surrounding, an
Environmental Sciences program is being offered at International Islamic University since year 2007. We offer three degree programs

Aligning with the latest global educational trend, Islamic International University established the Department of Environmental Science that focuses on Environmental Science degree & Post graduate programs with the aim to provide excellent education, catering rigorous demands of the emerging discipline.
