Central Library, International Islamic University is located in Sector H-10, Islamabad. The Library was established with the establishment of the International Islamic University and was shifted to the new building in July 2006, which consists of two floors. The Circulation Desk, Reference Collection, Reserve Collection, IIU Publications, Gosha-e-Iqbal, Periodicals Bound Volumes, Reference Desk, Sirah Section, Jinnah Corner & Pakistan Movement Corner, and office of the Chief Librarian are located at the ground floor. Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) terminals have also been placed at the ground floor, Whereas General Collection, Book Bank, Thesis Collection, Rasheed Amjad Corner, Periodicals’ Section, IT Lab, Video Conferencing Room, Research Cabins, and United Nations Information Resource Center (UNIRC) are situated at the first floor of the Library.
 
Full Library services are offered to female patrons on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday while Male patrons are offered full library services on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Limited library services are offered to patrons on alternate days.
