A total of 10 faculty members of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) have been recognized among the World Ranking of Top 2% Scientists for the year 2024.
This prestigious global ranking, compiled by Prof. John Ioannidis and his team at Stanford University, USA, is released annually in September and highlights the top 2% of scientists worldwide from a pool of over 230,000 researchers across diverse disciplines.
The IIUI faculty members included in this year’s list are: Prof. Dr. Rahmat Ellahi, Dr. Tahir Mehmood, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zeeshan, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Prof. Dr. Nasir Ali, Prof. Dr. Sheikh Nadeem Ahmed, Prof. Dr. Tariq Javed, Prof. Dr. Shamaila Sajjad, Dr. Ambreen Afsar, and Dr. Bushra Uzair.
On this remarkable achievement, IIUI President Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed and Vice President (Research & Enterprise) Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed congratulated the faculty members, appreciating their dedication and contributions.
They emphasized that this milestone will further enhance the University’s global ranking and serve as a vital step toward achieving its vision of academic excellence.
