Mid-Term Examinations Commence at IIUI: President Visits Examination Centers, Encourages Students

Mid-term examinations commenced today at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), marking the beginning of the academic evaluation process for the current semester.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President of IIUI, paid a surprise visit to various examination centers at both the male and female campuses to review the ongoing examination process.

During his visit to the male campus, the President visited multiple examination halls where he interacted with students, encouraged them, and wished them success in their examinations. He emphasized that students must be provided with a peaceful and comfortable environment so they may perform to the best of their abilities.

At one of the examination halls, Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheman, Vice President (A&F) / Academics, was also present. The President appreciated the efforts of the examination and academic departments for ensuring discipline, smooth conduct, and transparency in the ongoing exams.

The President was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences; Mr. Syed Naveed Ehtisham, Director (Academics & Examinations), Dr. Muhammad Faisal Rizwan, Associate Professor and Chairperson D-AF&C, FMS, Dr. Zahid, Deputy Director (Examinations), Mr. Jawad Shakir, Deputy Director (Degree Section); along with other relevant officials.

Later, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed also visited the Examination Centers at the Ayesha Block at the Female Campus, where he inspected the ongoing exams, interacted with students and faculty members, and appreciated the examination environment and arrangements.

Expressing satisfaction over the discipline and overall management, the President commended the invigilation staff and concerned departments for maintaining decorum and ensuring a fair and transparent examination process.

It is pertinent to mention that thousands of students from various faculties of the university are currently appearing in the Mid-Term Examinations for the ongoing semester.
