Maulana Ali Muhammad Turab, Senior Vice President of Markazi Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith Pakistan, called on Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), during a courtesy visit at the university.
Maulana Ali Turab was accompanied by a delegation comprising Prof. Sajjad Qamar, Advisor to the Minister for Religious Affairs, Maulana Ateeq ur Rehman Shah, Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Anwar, Hafiz Maqsood Ahmed, Hafiz Bilal Ahmed Araien, Dr. Tahir Mehmood, Dr. Ibrahim, and Shaikh Muhammad Bin Tayab Al-Rahi.
The delegation felicitated Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed on assuming the charge of the university and expressed their best wishes for the success of his tenure. On the occasion, Maulana Ali Turab lauded the role of IIUI in promoting education and serving society, stating that under the visionary leadership of Dr. Ahmed, the university is expected to progress with even greater pace and excellence.
Prof. Sajjad Qamar extended a formal invitation to the President IIUI to visit the Ministry of Religious Affairs, which was graciously accepted by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Al-Ahmed.
The meeting also featured a discussion on matters of mutual interest including promotion of religious harmony and educational collaboration.
