The Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue (IRD) of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has released a new academic volume titled “دینی مدارس: انصاف اور نظام تعلیم”, featuring research articles authored by Dr. Syed Aziz ur Rehman.
Prepared under the guidance of the President IIUI, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, the publication examines key dimensions of Pakistan’s dini madaris, focusing on questions of justice, educational reform, and institutional relevance. The compilation presents an analytical overview of the historical evolution of madaris, their role in contemporary society, and ongoing debates surrounding their educational frameworks.
During a briefing at the university, Additional Director IRD, Mr. Nasir Farid, presented a copy of the book to the President IIUI. He highlighted IRD’s ongoing efforts to support informed academic discourse and to produce research that contributes to national educational dialogue.
The publication is now available for researchers, policymakers, and scholars engaged in the study of religious education, curriculum development, and education policy in Pakistan.
