The Institute of Professional Development (IPD) at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized two professional development workshops for teachers of IIUI Schools’ Winter Zone on May 2 and 3, 2025.
The first workshop took place on May 2 at the IIUI Schools Mansehra Campus, with teachers from Mansehra, Abbottabad, Shinkiari, Haripur, and Balakot campuses in attendance. The second session was conducted on May 3 at the Swat Campus and included participants from Swat, Buner, and Dargai campuses.
The sessions were led by Dr. Fouzia Ajmal from the Department of Teacher Education and Consultant at IPD, IIUI. The training was centered on “Classroom Management, Conceptual Learning & Multitasking.”
Participants explored classroom management techniques, methods for designing conceptual and activity-based lessons, and strategies for multitasking in the classroom. The workshops combined theoretical insights with practical activities, group discussions, and digital tools.
The training concluded with a focus on purposeful teaching aligned with Islamic values and the educational vision of IIUI Schools. Principals of the participating campuses thanked IPD for organizing the workshops and acknowledged their practical benefits for teachers’ daily classroom experiences.
