The Department of Business Administration (DBA), Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS) at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), held a three-day CSR campaign titled Green Drive Fest 2025. The event focused on promoting social responsibility, institutional stewardship, and community-based student involvement.
The campaign opened with a focus on Health and Wellness. Sessions addressed personal hygiene, mental health, and public awareness. Speakers included Dr. Zoya Ashiq, Dr. Rimsha Safeer, and psychologist Dr. Farwa Shafique. A Campus Clean-Up Drive concluded the day, promoting collective responsibility.
On Day Two, the theme shifted to CSR for Climate Action. Student-led sustainability projects were presented, and Syed Rizwan Mehboob, Member of the Pakistan Climate Change Council, served as the chief guest. He encouraged youth-led innovation and institutional commitment to climate goals. Dr. Zaheer Abbas, Chairman DBA, presided over the session, stressing CSR’s role in business leadership.
The final day focused on Green Business and Sustainability. Dr. Anum Fatima, Director at the Capital Development Authority and an officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, visited CSR stalls and spoke on ethical leadership and sustainable governance. The event concluded with a Plantation Drive to promote environmental stewardship.
The campaign was led by Dr. Zara Sabeen, Head of DBA, and Ma’am Sadaf Manzoor, Chief Organizer, along with a team of student executives. Green Drive Fest 2025 provided a hands-on platform for integrating CSR into education and institutional culture, reinforcing IIUI’s focus on service, leadership, and sustainable development.
