The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has entered into a landmark agreement with PAF Hospital, Islamabad, to extend comprehensive medical facilities to its employees. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed on August 15, 2025, was formally activated on Friday, August 29, marking a new chapter in healthcare support for the IIUI community.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheman, Vice President Administration and Finance, IIUI, and the Director General Medical Services, PAF Hospital. Through this partnership, IIUI employees will have access to a wide range of specialized medical services at PAF Hospital, including cardiac treatment, gynecology, general surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics, and more.
Under the terms of the agreement, employees will benefit from discounted outpatient department (OPD) services on a cash basis and inpatient department (IPD) services on a credit basis, aligning with the university’s existing collaborations with other leading hospitals.
This significant achievement is the outcome of dedicated efforts by Mr. M. Bilal Awan (Deputy Director Audit), Dr. Wakeel, Dr. Sidra, and Mr. Umair Majeed, whose contributions paved the way for the agreement.
Speaking on the occasion, officials highlighted that the MoU will not only provide relief in medical expenses but also ensure timely and quality healthcare for IIUI employees and their families. The agreement reflects IIUI’s commitment to the well-being of its staff by forging partnerships with premier healthcare institutions.
With this activation, IIUI employees can now avail themselves of the specialized healthcare facilities at PAF Hospital, adding another trusted name to the list of medical institutions already affiliated with the university.
