Chairperson of the Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) and former Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Literature at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Najiba Arif, called on Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President IIUI, at his office.
During the meeting, she congratulated Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Al-Ahmed on assuming the charge as President IIUI and expressed her best wishes for his tenure. She also appreciated the university’s ongoing academic pursuits and its role in promoting literature, language, and interfaith harmony.
Matters of mutual interest, including academic collaboration, literary initiatives, and promotion of language and literature, were also discussed during the meeting.
