Art Exhibition Held at the Department of Islamic Art & Architecture

The Department of Islamic Art & Architecture held an art exhibition, providing students with a platform to showcase their creativity and skills. The event was inaugurated by Worthy President Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed. Dean FSS, Prof. Dr. Manzoor Khan Afridi; Dr. Attia Abrar — In-Charge of the Department — as well as faculty in-charges from the Departments of History & Pakistan Studies and Media & Communication were present. The exhibition offered students a valuable opportunity to present their creative work before peers, faculty, and guests, giving them recognition and confidence. Such events help students explore new artistic techniques and build a sense of pride in their work.

Among various projects, students displayed works in Islamic Calligraphy, Page Illuminations, application of Islamic patterns in contemporary design, Product Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Mural, Still Life, and Drawing.
The Worthy President praised the participants and organizers for their dedication and thoughtful execution of the exhibition, recognizing it as a powerful initiative that highlighted art’s role in remembrance, resistance, and hope. As a gesture of genuine appreciation and encouragement, the President personally awarded students with monetary prizes for their outstanding contributions. This act not only recognized their hard work and creativity but also provided tangible support, motivating them to pursue further artistic endeavors.
At the end of the event, students presented their art pieces to the President.
