
The Directorate of Student Affairs (Male) of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), in collaboration with the Computer Science Society, organized a one-day seminar highlighting the growing global demand for cybersecurity skills.
The program opened with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthems of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Saleh Sulaiman Al-Ghufairi attended the event as chief guest.

Director Student Affairs Dr. H. Ghufran Ahmad welcomed the participants and acknowledged the visit of Syed Arsalan, Cybersecurity Consultant at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA). In his presentation, Syed Arsalan briefed students from the Faculty of Computing and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology on international career prospects, particularly in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf markets, and shared guidance on developing skills needed to access these opportunities.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Al-Ghufairi assured students of support in academic, sports and administrative matters. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Imran Saeed, Assistant Professor, who appreciated the guest speaker and organizers and encouraged students to enhance their technical capabilities to benefit from emerging global cybersecurity opportunities.
