Description: On 30-December-2010, was the first seminar since the foundation of F.E.T (seven years), which had been organized under the banner of FET Alumni Mobilization & Outreach cell.
Speakers were invited from Pakistan’s leading VSAT service providers i.e. Wateen Telecom and Asian Broadcasting Satellite. They explained the latest trends being followed in Satellite communication, their growing applications and future job opportunities in this particular domain.
Its a huge milestone achieved for FET since the speakers have shown interest in facilitating our students for site visits and in near future holding a workshop on VSAT tools and softwares being used in the industry.
I really am thankful to Dr Shuja Ahmed Syed since his vision has lead us to this achievement, Dr Arbab Ali, Engr Zeeshan Najam, F.E.T students and Saeed Khattak for making this event a huge success.
