President, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) chaired a meeting of the steering committee for conferences, seminars and events in which committees were formed to hold international conference on “Role of Islamic Universities in eradication of terrorism”.
The meeting also reviewed arrangements for the upcoming events, international seminars, while various faculties were given tasks of arranging conferences on important topics.
The meeting was attended by the Vice Presidents, Deans, Directors and other relevant officials who were directed by the IIUI President to expedite the efforts for arrangements of the upcoming events. He emphasized that university has a responsibility to address the prevailing challenges of time and to meet this objective, conferences and seminars from the platform of IIUI is vital.
The IIUI President desired that a forum of all the Islamic universities is a necessary, while IIUI officials would have to take practical steps to make a meeting of forum possible before Ramdan.
