UNCW DELEGATION VISITS IIUI

Delegates from the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW), USA had a four-day visit at International Islamic University Islamabad.

According to details sent by Department of English, Executive Director of Iqbal Institute for Research and Dialogue, Dr Husnul Amin and Acting Dean Department of English Dr Ayaz Afsar along with the faculty members from the Faculty of Languages and Literature and International Relations welcomed the guests.

UNCW delegation included Dr Caroline Clements, Dr Diana Ashe and Dr Florentina Andreescu. The delegates, according to the scheduled participated in interactive activities and various sessions at male and female campuses.

Dr Carrie Claments shared her thought-provoking studies on“Conflict Management” with faculty members at the Department of English. They had the opportunity to meet Christian community members followed by a visit to Said Pur Village and a dinner at Des Purdes. The delegation visited UNCW guests visited Taxila Museum and some archeological sites. Having attended an exclusive meeting on the upcoming conference the delegates left Islamabad for Wilmington, North Carolina.
