The 79th meeting of the Board of Governors (BoG) of the International Islamic University was held here at the Faisal Masjid Campus of the university.
Professor Dr. Masoom Yasinzai, Rector of the university chaired the meeting. It was attended by IIUI President, Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh. Other members of the board who attended the meeting were Senator Nuzhat Sadiq, Justice (R) Khalil ur Rehman, Iltaf Ali Sheikh (representative of Chairman HEC), Dr. Javed Ahraf Vice Chancellor Quaid e Azam University, Dr. Idris Zubair Ex-Professor, Islamic Studies, AIOU, Dr. Mohammad Bashir Khan, Vice President IIUI and Mr. M Taimur Khan (representative of the Secretary Ministry of Education.)
The meeting reviewed various agenda items regarding administrative matters of the university. The meeting also approved the appointments and promotions of the teachers and officers of the university respectively. The members expressed their satisfaction over IIUI’s functioning and suggested various measures to further enhance the progress of the university.
