IIUI, ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY MEDINA JOIN HANDS, SIGN MOU

International Islamic University, Islamabad Pakistan and Islamic IMG-20160621-WA0026University Madina Saudi Arabia signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to join their hands for academic excellence and to boost joint research ventures. In pursuing of MoU, both the universities shall enhance its academic and educational cooperation for achieving common goals.

Dr. Ahmed Yuosif Al-Draiweesh President IIUI and Dr, Ibrahim bin Al –Ubaid Acting Head of Islamic University Madina signed MoU on behalf of their universities. The body of MoU tells that both the universities shall enhance their experiences in the field of their expertise particularly in information technology (IT).

Furthermore, according to the MoU both the universities would launch teacher’s exchange program and enhance cooperation for IMG-20160621-WA0012collective educational projects and ensure participation in conferences, seminars and workshops. In addition, it also paves the way for students exchange at higher level.

It is pertinent to mention here that Prince Bandar bin Salman Advisor to the Saudi King Custodian of Two Holy Mosques also attended the signing ceremony.

He appreciated both the universities for their continued efforts in the field of education, Islamic orientation and Islamic call. Saudi Pronce lauded the role of Dr. Al-Draiweesh for the uplifting of IIUI by taking admirable steps.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Al-Draiweesh extended his heartiest thanks to Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Saudi Govt for their patronage of IIUI. He also paid thanks to Mamnoon Hussain President Islamic Republic of Pakistan/ Chancellor IIUI for taking keen interest in the development of IIUI. Dr. Al-Draiweesh appreciated the contributions and role of Dr, Ibrahim for extending its cooperation for IIUI.
