Department of Physics Female Campus, International Islamic University, Islamabad organized a lecture on “Nanotechnology and its Applications”.
Dr. Noor Muhammad Butt, Professor of Nano Science & Technology & Chairman Preston Institute of Nano Science & Technology (PINSAT) Islamabad was guest speaker on the seminar while Dr. Masoom Yasinzai Rector IIUI was chief guest on the occasion.
Dr. Noor Muhammad Butt is initiator of nanotechnology in Pakistan and is a renowned researcher. He delivered an interactive and informative lecture, based on advantages of nano technology and its applications in our everyday life.
Dr. Butt mentioned the innovation and modern research in the field and apprised the students about advancement being carried in the world. He also made participants aware with different aspects present inventions in nano technology and its implications.
Dr. Masoom in his address thanked guest speaker for sparing his precious time. He also lauded the efforts of Dr. Shamaila Chairperson Department of Physics on organizing such informative seminar. He advised students to take benefits from such learned scholars and share their queries with them to seek the answers. Dr. Masoom said IIUI would keep providing such opportunities to students to make their vision broader with arranging seminar, lectures and conferences. Dr. Adil Waqar Chairman Department of Physics (male) also attended the lecture.
