IIUI, EGYPTIAN INSTITUTES VOW MUTUAL COOPERATION

arabic news feb 8International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) and educational institutions of Egypt have agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation by arranging joint seminars and exchange of faculties.

This was agreed in the meetings between the high officials of Egyptian universities and President IIUI’s Advisor Dr. Ashraf Abdul Rafay Al-Durfaily who visited Egypt on the directives of President IIUI Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh and discussed already signed MoUs and other issues of mutual interest between IIUI and Egyptian varsities.

Dr. Ashraf called on Director of Centre for Islamic Economics, Al-Azhar University, Professor Dr. Yousif Ibrahim where the Egyptian official lauded IIUI for its progress and role in the field of research and education. It was agreed in the meeting that the centre of Al-Azhar university would organize a seminar on Iqbal’s thoughts titled” Unity of Mulsim Ummah and Iqbal’s Message”.

Meanwhile, Dr. Abdul Rafay also called on Vice President Al-Azhar University who told that the President of the university has assured to take meaningful measures in terms of providing more faculty members to IIUI.

The IIUI President’s Advisor also called on President Alexandria University, Egypt, where points of a prior meeting between Dr. Al-Draiweesh and his Alexandria University counterpart were discussed. The varsity’s President also invited Rector IIUI, President IIUI, Director Dawah Academy and Executive Director Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue to visit Alexandria university, while he also vowed to remain available with dedication for mutual cooperation.
