National Job Fair
International Islamic university Islamabad in collaboration with Jang Group is conducting National Job Fair 2009.
 
Profile of the event:
  • A job fair.
  • A national event for employee, recruiters and school to meet with prospective job seeker.
  • It will induct company/organization booths where resume will be collected and business card be exchanged.
  • It will provide a convenient location for the students to meet employers
  • A seminar will be conducted during the event where key speakers will talk about HR policies, newer trends, paradigm shifts and organizational behavior in detail. Some useful tips about CV drafting and successful interview techniques will also be shared with the audience.
Concept of National Job Fair
The theme of the event is based on the youth of Pakistan especially the highly qualified youth and their employment. Of the 15 largest countries in the world in terms of population size, Pakistan has the far youngest people. The youth of the Pakistan present the most promising resource and in huge quality, a big reservoir of energy. If this energy is put into proper use it will bring about a complete social, economic, cultural and ideological revolution in the country. This could contribute significantly to the economic growth and poverty elevation.

Both the government and society must join their hands for the nation-building task and concentrate on protecting the emotional and physical health of the youth, their skill-based education and provision of recreation facilities, employment and above all incorporation of the self-confidence, motivation and courage to move forward. Indeed it is clear from the experience of the many other countries that unless these assets and qualities are given the opportunity to be applied, they can easily turn to negativism and disruption of social order. The need therefore is to create increasing opportunity for them to develop their personalities and functional capabilities and to enable them to productive and socially useful.

The major concept is to bring the Pakistan’s top employers and job seeking youth on one platform. There would be display tables for each employer where they would collect CVs and interview the candidates at the spot. A seminar would be arranged to give informative tips to the candidates regarding devising CV, making impact on employers, building self-confidence, apply for useful and related academics and practical courses and making them aware on exactly what the employer look in a candidates as a potential employee
 
Objectives of the event
Here is what we mean to achieve through this mega event:
Our aim is to bring the unemployed yet highly qualified youth of the Pakistan and the employers under one roof through this event.
• This event will provide all the stakeholders to interact with their counterparts in the region and to learn from each other’s best practices.
• The biggest beneficiary through this event will the young job seekers and the employers as they would be able intermingle
• We will address the unemployment and the youth and provide them with a stage to help them meet the Pakistan’s top employers.

The national job fair is backed by the largest media group of Pakistan, Jang Group. This media support will ensure you an astonishing reach our newspaper readers, TV audience, radio listeners and website viewers.
